White's tip-in sends series back to TD Garden
The Boston Celtics pulled off a thrilling 104-103 victory over the Miami Heat in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference finals on Friday night, forcing a Game 7 in the series.
The Celtics trailed by eight points with just over two minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, but rallied to tie the game on a three-pointer by Jayson Tatum with 26 seconds left.
After the Heat missed a shot on their next possession, White grabbed the rebound and tipped it in at the buzzer to give the Celtics the win.
Tatum led the Celtics with 30 points, while Jaylen Brown added 24 and White had 22.
The Celtics will host the Heat in Game 7 on Sunday night at TD Garden.
